My Venus

In myown life this poem is still unfulfilled lacking the name to be given Venus. This version I dedicate to two deserving hearts, Eddy and Chanti with my best wishes.

 

Poseidon bowed in query
As to Zeus he makes his plea
This protected heart grows weary
In my waters cold and deep
 ...continued...

Wow, this has to be a first for me. Thank you for this beautiful poem. I will treasure it and although I know Eddy isn't quite as mushy as I am, he will appreciate it just as much. I count myself to be extremely fortunate to know love. Only a poet could express it so well :-)
