Well, O’Malley, it was interesting seeing ya in town.
I only mention it because yu never come around.
Are ya gettin lonesome guarding yur precious gold?
Ya know O’Malley, a woman is warm but your treasure is cold.
Would ya like this waif to fix ya up with the ole widow Tess?
I heard she’s lookin for a rich gent or haven’t ya guessed.
What da a say O’Malley, would ya like Tess sittin on your lap?
She’s one sassy one, that Tess, she’s full of lemons and sap.
Don’t ya go fixin me up with no ole Tess, ya little twerp.
I can find my own fine lass and can get any skirt.
But no Lassie is ever gonna steal my treasured gold.
So off with ya pesky Waif and do as your told.
O’Malley is sure up to somethin that’s fer sure.
I must find a way to entice him with a clear-cut lure.
He’s only interested in something valuable and rare.
Well, I will start searching, he doesn’t stand a prayer.
For I will find out what he’s up to if it takes me all day.
Then I’ll see what that ole sly fox O’Malley has to say.
Watch out O’Malley for I’m on your sly tail.
And don’t be surprise if we both end up in jail…
