A beautiful human being,
a devout Christian lady, a loving spirit!
She cane, she went and blest this earth,
gave true love showed heavenly worth!
Don and Mary McCall were truly bless,
Mo was sent through this earthly mess.
A heart as pure as 24 karet gold,
sorry to say since,
they've broken the mold,
And every soul that Maureen touched,
especially mine it lifted me up!
her three sisters must sing and shout,
showing the world what Mo was about.
What I know the sisters can sing,
we are truly blest here-
at Christ the King!
Great mother nurse served little people,
heart wide as oceans,
taller than a steeple!
Her voice was beautiful birds would cry,
at 10:45 Mass often angels stopped by!
Mo's nephew Matt has a hole in his heart
God in time will take some pain away,
we must keep our eyes on Jesus,
believe me brighter will be the day.
Trillions of tears I know will be shed,
Salvation is high right above our heads!
When God above his angels call,
their dressed with grace as they fall.
Maureen in our hearts forever,
someone we will forget not never!
Angels, mom and dad welcome you home,
Jesus has your crown,
right by God's throne
Like your Mo, some people shine so bright day by day, that we can't resist memorialize them with our poetic lines.
You were indeed blessed to know a friend like Maureen!
I'm sorry to hear that your poems are often about great loss in your life like Maureen.
But your poem is such a wonderful tribute to someone who was able to give so much of herself as a nurse. Kudos to you for always thinking of others when others may not.

When I wrote ths book in 2000, I was concerned about children having access to the Internet and to chat rooms where "you can be anyone you want." Here we are many years later and the situation with children talking freely to stangers on the Internet
