When you serve in the Arm forces,
and give all there’s nothing more to give,
you gave your life out of love!
Thank you this Memorial Day!
I served in the US Navy,
I’m a Vietnam veteran.
Did not die but survived,
I cried for those who died!
Serving their country so true ,
Gave their lives for the red white and blue!
Because what they gave our flag waves,
Atop the White House, the capital,
the Pentagon, and the Treasury as well!
Those soldiers, sailors, Marine Corps-
Air Force, yes those valiant people.
Their brave Spirits will alway Soar,
In cemeteries our Hearts forever more!
Thank you God for sharing them with us!
Let me thank you for your Vietnam service. Probably the most difficult service of the 20th century for many reasons. I hope you didn't have the after effects that so many had and continue to have.
