You nap on top of a trash can
Patiently waiting for the night
An enigma in the world of man
Born to kill and inclined to fight
The last rays of the sun caress
Your shining and pitch black fur
Your inseparable battle dress
And lover's suite you prefer
You’ll soon fade in the dark
And lazily head for the park
Stealthing from shadow to shadow
Carefully avoiding each font of light
You spread fear whereever you go
Nothing that escapes your sight
You are a serial killer by nature
A flawless murdering machine
Likely to have me for dinner
If your stature would’ve been
Ten times larger than it is now
Men like me would be your chow
Since you are not, you’re feared by
Basically anything smaller than you
Whereever you appear creatures fly
In panic, hoping to make it through
The night that hides your presence
By blending each color in to black
But after the frenzies of violence
You always leisurely amble back
To this place you share with me
Felix, my beloved little pedigree
Be gentle now!
Love this majestic creature of the night!
Your imagery is utterly amazing me
Black is BEAutiful!

Your work is brilliant, as usual and you never disappoint.

Good kitty kitty. :) An excellent write, although rather hard to read, with blue print on black. Some of us are getting old...er. LOL Otherwise, enjoyed.
