It has come to my attention
My brain has no retention!
Of how to do this
Or how to do that
It simply falls...kersplat!
Now, to open up a cardboard box
You'd think there'd be no pox
But, Honey, let me tell you true
I've cussed my letters blue!
I tried to open a Bean-O
You know the ones...no blow?
It was just a small container
The lid was white as snow
But hinged as tight as ticks on dogs
It left me in a fog!
By now, screwdriver found its way
A gouging I did play
Until the lid flew in the floor
It was destined for the store!
"Whew," I say. "I think it's good."
Till one more blasted hood
Stared at me...the silver flap
Glued down like leather strap.
I jerked and pulled, it would not give
My anger it did rev
Until an ice-pick
I did spy...yep, it surely did the trick.
But no, above the tiny pills
Lay another thrill!
"Hello," I say, "its cotton balls."
"What more do I befall?"
Gouging with my fingernails
My hands began to flail.
Pulling fiber threads in strips
My anger, it did slip!
Now, I don't know if I want this stuff
It made me, oh, so gruff
But I can't put it back in style
The way that it was found.
Now, look what it did to me
I just stomped it on the ground!
"I Just Stomped It on the Ground!" flows lively depicting the acions...
It takes the reader on to the scene... A true poetic-dramatic grand.
I salute You, Poet.
In admiration,
