Sudden morning storm a-brewing
beholds expenctant dew from dewing;
swirling leaves upon the walk,
cutting short chance strangers' talk
with roaring wind and pelting rain--
their romantic meeting to refrain.
Park bench but fateful footfalls away
beckons love's laughter another day.
