I look into your eyes
I see tears building up
How hurt and damaged
Your heart inside is.
I want to stop your pain
To you I cry, I don't know how to help
How distant my hand is to your heart
How painful it is to be so helpless.
A touch, a kiss
And it feels so close
Yet pain feels
Like centuries of emptiness
This feeling is so fragile
It brings my own eyes to memories
I'm taken away by your presence.
You in my arms,
Me in yours,
How can i take that pain away?
The one that feels as old as centuries?
All I can do, is guide you through
All I can do, is be there for you
All I can do, is stroke you hair
And kiss you softly
All I can do, is offer my soul
I hope my love is strong enough,
To take you through the times you find tough
