The love we shared now gone The loneliness, the emptiness Swallows me whole Engulfs me The pain so intense I cannot see How I'm going to find Who I am, who I need to become Tears fall like rain Survival I know how to do But how do I pretend Pretend you don't mean You were my everything I walk around in a daze My heart breaking With every breath I take Life doesn't mean the same Yet I don't get the luxury Of curling into a ball Of crying my hurt away I have to be strong My love for you Has not yet changed Through the looking glass, I see A hollow shell of who I was

Great reflection of the pain and heartbreak of a felled relationship..
One either stays in the past. Or just gets over it.
Goes out and grabs life by the cuffs..
