I find myself wandering in an endless circle
One that has little meaning, little life
Wondering if I’m wandering for no reason
Or searching, searching for something, someone to make me whole
My whole world has been a farce of catastrophic proportions
Oh, the battles have been fierce and real
The loves few and far between
Yet, nothing lingers
How many lives have I lived this miserable existence
Through all eternity I will abide this Hell
The real tragedy is nobody notices
As the life within me withers, yet I still stand tall
It drains down in a kaleidoscope of colors
Of emotions, of fears
My wants could fill the universe
My tears would fill the seas

"yet nothing lingers".. thats the line that brought it home for me.. we must make ourselves whole.. its sifting through whats out there and the choices we make that give us the ammo to do that. this is nicely written and dripping with pain.. turn your search inward.. you will find what I have found in you: a profoundly beautiful person.. but dont go by me.. go get her! A poignant story about letting go of a narcissist in your life. Have you ever been attacked FULL force by a narcissist? It's the closest thing to being stabbed over and over in the back.
