You think I’m a fussy eater

But I’ll eat all I can devour,

As long as it’s not pork or beef,

Or made from whole grain flour,

Why I’ll eat anything I’m given

And consider it a treat,

Except for fruit and vegetables,

Pastry or meat,

Or anything with sugar in

Or spices for that matter,

And I just can’t eat eggs or poultry

Or fish deep fried in batter.

But name almost any other food

And I’ll gladly scoff it down,

Not including soup or rice

Or bread, both white and brown.

And being lactose intolerant

With an allergy to nuts,

Means no McDonalds take-a-ways,

Or trips to Pizza Hut

But that doesn’t make me fussy

Or difficult to feed,

Because I’ll eat anything at all,

Except sunflower seeds,

Or any seeds at all in fact

Because they’re too hard to digest,

But I am not a fussy eater

The way some people would suggest,

It just means I watch my figure,

And my calorie intake,

Surviving on a diet

Of celery, not cake.

Well, not celery so much,

Because I don’t really like that.
