A Deliberately Bad Poem... For fun! ;-)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This piece was posted long ago, here until I had problems in my Den . 4 or 5 months ago & was lost-- see, it's That Bad!;-) LOL! Just telling you this, as I thought I'd enter it in the contest! Why? For Fun! (In all honesty, anyone who can actually "Read" it, er, should win a prize!) Oh, yes, and Caution: "Eye Strain May Occur"... Enjoy. I hope! :-)
To All the Poets and Poetesses
 ( A Poem for thees'es)
Oh ye the poets and poetesses
Oh ye of long and short adressess'es
Oh ye, Oh ye, Oh ye who write
Oh ye who write from left to right
Or Ye who write from right to leftessness
Oh ye, Oh ye, Oh ye, Oh ye!
Oh, to be of thee, Oh just to be, to be
poets and poetesses like thee
to be, to be, to be, to be
like those who make the words I see
so ever lovely, as a... 'Tree'!
To be, to be, to be, to be!
A 'Tree', they say could never be
as 'Lovely' as your poems do be
do be, do be, do be, do be!
Oh! Do be a bee!
A bee, a bee, a bee, a bee!
Do be a bee?   Do be A Bee!
A bee, a-buzzing
through the trees'es
Not ever 'Lovely'
as words of thees'es!
Not even dashboards
with Plastic Jesus'es!
Oh, no! oh maybe, Yes, perhapseth!
As maybe Lovely as the Plasticeth!
Oh, yes, as some do be cars'es with
dashboards Saved by Plastic gods'es!
(Not everybody's gods'es, true , to be!)
Oh! Some might think of gods'es as ye?!
Oh ye, Oh ye, Oh ye! Oh ye of
words and letters and what else ever!
makes a poet or a poetess
write such words and letters better
than any of us else could ever!
Oh, ever, ever, ever, ever!
Oh, please!?! I beg, this poem is fit
for all the poets and poetesses
who read the best and worsest here,
I cannot stand. I cannot bear
that mine own ode-iousity
would not be fit for thee! Oh Me!
Thus, see, Oh thee, oh thee, oh thee!
I, so madly, try to honor ye!
Yes, ye! Oh, ye! Oh, Ye, Oh, Ye!
I had'st doth do this thing for thee,
My finest ode-ium for thee to see!
Ye, poets and poetesses, such thee who be!
Oh poem mine,
Behold, Divine!
Near done!  So late!
Yet still, I do so Dedicate
This  humbly writ,  yet ode to ye,
to ye and ye and ye and ye!
And ye and ye and ye and ye and ye and ye and
Alas, oh all! I Cannot fit!
oh darn!
Oh darn and darn and darn, Oh, woe is me!
I must to endeth now, Oh gee!
Thus so, I do!
I do, I do, I do, I do!
Now endeth this, to thee,
Ye poets and poetesses That Be!
Oh, woe! Oh, woe! I must to go!
Though how I do not wan'st to go.
I Must to go, to go, to go, to go!
I fear this went and reached the end,
the end, the end, the end, the end!
the end,
the end,
the end,
the end!
THE END
OH, geez... not a poem to be read on a day with a migraine (!) Still, I managed to read the whole way through and, I must say, this is delightful fun. Seems it's best read aloud. Especially like the footnote.
