Mixed-up people mix me up I seem to draw them to me Dog or bitch I'm just a pup They threaten to undo me
So I cherish my few friends Who truly care about me Harbor no self-serving ends Believe and do not doubt me That I only want the best For all just peace and quiet
Then never mind all the rest Who crave a steady diet Of chaos and of madness Who give but grief and sadness And take away such gladness As I've been able to find
Please mixed-up people go away And just stop messing with my mind I want to spend this bright spring day With friends and leave drama behind Me now as I go out to play
