Bury This Day What more can I say And how can I bear To bury this day Pretend not to care You are lost to me When the cost to me Is no less than all? I agree with Jerry in some ways the graphic is overkill your words and rythem strike just the right chord by themselves, my friend. Great poem and I can all too easily feel it's source.

I have not the slightest idea what the Goethe quote is all about but you don't need it. You didn't need anything except the poem, the rest is distrsacting and seems that you are trying too hard to . . . something. Poets poems should stand the test all by themselves. This one did that quite nicely.
