Transcendental Sonnet #1425 and Final: On Learning I Must Sell Out and Move Away The sky is falling down at last Life ends as life begins The rain comes down to drown my past And wash away the sins Of generations lived and died What we stood and fell for Our good and evil shame and pride Now fades to leave no more Than faint stain when the rain has dried The battle and the war Now lost to me because the cost Was more than I could bear An autumn leaf the wind has tossed To nowhere yet to everywhere +Steven Curtis Lance Copyright MMVI

The page turns and a new story awaits, Steven! New surroundings, new air, new sense of being. Grief, of course, in the pain of letting go but this could be a symbolic release of the past and shedding of the skin you've outgrown. I wish you joy after sorrow and peace in new horizons...
