To you Sir.

*Funny man yet looking sad* *cane in hand* *his clothes look bad,* *but he makes you laugh* *sometimes a tear.* *Walking around twirling his cane* *his steps appear* *he should maybe* *put his shoes on again.* *As he walks* *he eyes a girl* *follows her wherever she goes* *a tramp following a dream* *and in the end what do you know.* *Sir Charlie Chaplin* *crank the film* *if only I had seen you* *on your sets for real,* *what a gift* *that would have been* *but thank you Sir* *for what you left.*
