Based on a true story. an encounter with a man in a shipping office.
I knew a man
that had a wig
nothing wrong
someone just said,
well when he sat
at his desk
checking orders
for deliveries to be met,
he had an In-Tray
that was so full
he worked so hard
to check them all.
turning this way
turning that
pounding hardwith his rubber stamp
he would gave it such a thump.
He would get hot
as they day did pass
his head perspired
made the wig slide,
just a little
as he turned
first to leftout of the In-Tray
then to the right he would sway,
slowly the wig it slid
from back to front
he never ever noticed
what had gone on.
No one told him
it was now in reverse
they did not want to embarrass
or cause him hurt,
so as he left
at the end of the day
he was going forward
the wig
the other way.
Humorous and rings true...very few people will be comfortable enough to show support to a fellow human being...thank you for the imagery! Appreciated and enjoyed.

I'm certainly glad no one embarrassed him by making some crude remark. I recall one of my fellow graduate students, who, on a trip, was paired with another one of our students… Italian, with a very nice long black haircut and sideburns on a road trip in a motel. Anyway, he told me that he was shocked when the guy came out of the bathroom totally bald! His secret was out, but I don't recall anyone ever seeing him without his hairpiece again.

I'm certainly glad no one embarrassed him by making some crude remark. I recall one of my fellow graduate students, who, on a trip, was paired with another one of our students… Italian, with a very nice long black haircut and sideburns on a road trip in a motel.
