This poem is for Robert Jude (Ace) Forese

Oh, no... I'm Late!

I’m late… I’m late…
for a very important date!
Please don’t leave me out,
kindly open the gate.
I brought cake for the party,
candies and dates,
I’ve upset the queen –
painted the roses red!
I was in such a hurry,
and I knew I was late,
oh! please, kind sir,
please open the gate.

Wouldn’t miss a garden party,
I brought hats and dressed up tidy,
brought horns to make jolly,
now all together say:

SIR ROBERT JUDE!!!!

H A P PY  N E W  Y E A R!!!!

What you’re all looking at?
did I say something bad?

You're late! Then my chance to acknowledge is positively defunct. He wouldn't know to what I was referring. Guess I'll have to catch him next year. Hehehehe. Enjoyed your words, Carmen.

I read an exuberant expression with reason to celebrate with a little guilt and humor thrown in for being late.

The poem is cute, clever and was easy for me to comprehend.
