Happy Thanksgiving too all who care enough show it!

***~***~***~***~***~***~**

Mindless Games"

Bring out your words

Let's have a battle today

Or do you fear the results

I may win this battle without the fame

On this Thanksgiving Day

You know and I know this very well

I may regret this word game today

That I never should have brought this up

I am angry and going to spill it all out

The reasons why I don't love you anymore

And why I do love someone like crazy

Why do you bring me your words

When all you really want is my body

On this Thanksgiving Day

Some kind of reward for you not loving me

Just whenever you wish you take me

Knowing how I truly feel about this

I only wish to know why

This is your glory in fame

Am I the one to be blamed?

For your pride without any shame

When…in hells name did I enter this mindless game?

But obviously for some stupid reason

I will not know for sure

On this Thanksgiving Day

Thanks for what?

When this mindless game end

I will be thankful

Tinka,

Your depth to which you write poetry is bottomless - the imagery, the rhyme, the tempo, are all penned as if magic has been performed time and time again - your are a poetess par supreme!!

Best wishes,

Robert

Tinka, sometimes one needs to walk away from “mindless games!” It seems as though you have been able to realize that without true love, it is a “mindless game!” An excellent, well-penned composition, Poetess. I wish you the best as you continue marching towards the “promised land,” my friend. Take good care and be well.

You know..I tried to get into a "Battle of Words" with my ex, but it just wasn't any fun because he didn't have the proper equipment :) Relax, sweetie, everything works out...God, I hate hearing that when people say it to me, but it's true. Emotional write, enjoyed reading very much (keep smiling..it'll be okay)
