“Waiting”

Sleeping at midnight

Within golden dreams of delight

Silent night

Silent meadow

Tranquility

But a dark cloud waiting

Storm approaching

Far apart weeping stars

Dim almost faded…waiting

Flash of lightning burning bright

Eyes open wide waiting

Anticipation

Seeking sweet golden dream

Journey done…awake

Dream gone…flash of lightning

From a distance

Roaring thunder

Arms in self-embrace…waiting

Curtains slowly moving

Whispering winds…lightning…thunder

Much closer now

Mighty flash….

Thunder of might

Dark clouds pouring down

Power of God

He who cares

Feed the soil

I close my eyes…waiting

Sweet sleep returns

Another golden dream of delight within

Awaked by rays of sun

Waiting
