The “F” Word

I hate miss understandings
They stab you in the heart
They turn the clock
Go back in time of sorrow
To hate is so easy
One second of wrong
Can make a lifetime of hate
I hate to hate
But I hate to lie
One lie can bring hate into your heart
Then you can hate for life
I hate to hurt the one I love
I hate the word f….kin
Because that f…kin word makes me hurt inside
Said at the wrong place at the wrong time
It's so bad it makes your nose snotty
And your face goes sad
That f…kin hateful word
Those who hate that f…kin word
Spit it out and let us hate it forever
And from me to you
I HATE FUC>>>mind abusers
HAPPY???

Robert has a good point, Tinka. Folks in Ireland use the f-word without even realizing it. It's second nature to them. But obviously, the people who used it around you intended to abuse everyone around them. But they'll get theirs. After all, if they don't have anything better to say, they surely don't have anything better to think.

There is really no proper context in which to use this word. It usually just leads to something worse, if it hasn't already. Well written.

Oh, my Lord. The word "fuck" is actually not profanity. It's middle English. But Tinka, based on what I've read, I don't think that your poem's commenting on the "f" word. What is it you mean to say in your poem? You've got a good sense of humor.

Kind of makes me think about my poem "Glibbitch." So many focused on the Tuskeegee Airmen, no one wondered what in the dickens did the title "Glibbitch" mean and if the crux of the poem was really Tuskegee Airmen. Afterall, Glibbitch is not a word. ;-)

Just curious. I'd love your clarification on this one.

If you hate the word so much why use it Tinka, why let him yank your chain? Better to pour out nicities and let him wallow in it;-)!

It can be such a hateful word, as are hate-filled mind abusers.

A most powerful rant, Tinky; but so glad to hear that you adopted that cute little love bug from Pansy's Place; she has the best bugs!

I am sorry you are having a bad day. Let it all out, girlfriend; it will do you good. (I have been known to let a f*** fly or two myself; I am not perfect, and I know God will forgive me when I swear.) Hope your days get better, you deserve to be happy!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in America, Karen Lynn in Texas. :D

But can I tell you a little story? Your poem made me smile in a way because I can remember one time when Karla was eight, and she was swinging on the swings, singing, "Fuck you, fuck you" at the top of her lungs. Mom heard her, and she came flying out the house, where she proceeded to beat the holy hell out of her. Karla didn't know what the word meant; she probably heard it and liked the sound of it, so she decided to experiment. Well, you can see where THAT got her! LOL I shall never forget it! It was funny (but NOT to Karla)!

And I thought the F word was for Freddy Flintoff. C'mon, you can't win, after what we did today, got back the 193 without lose.

Was hoping to watch the cape town game, if any, it's J'burg, or petoria..Which ever we'll will..HEHEHEHE....
