"I KNOW I"M AD”S GRAMMAR FOOL"

Today I feel so useless
My hair hangs down
My face in a frown
My mood is bad
My heart is sad
I am a little mad
But still very glad I have my writing
It is so exiting
But Oh!!! Boy the grammar
Gee-whiz that's a hammer
It hit's the tongue bad some days
But don't be sad
As long as I
Can understand
To me my poetry is grand
Sometimes I speak
English deliciously
And you can follow me
I am right behind you
Yea well no fine
Try me some other time
When I don't feel so useless
Abuser of grammar
Shut up!!!
Before I hit you
With a hammer
To fix your grammar
Ask no questions
And you hear no lies
And I am eating pies
No more B.B.Q"S
Am I a grammar fool?

Grammar doesn't matter. If you're satisfied with what you write, then that's all that matters

Tinka, Never worry about grammar, especially where poetry is concerned. Grammar rules (all rules can be bent or broken)stay the same but grammar is mobile, it changes as the language changes English for example has changed immensely since the Middle Ages ie it has lost it's inflexions.
Poetry is about emotion, feelings and what is in your heart, not grammar...sod the purists, I teach English and my grammar varies depends on my mood oddly enough. Your poetry conveys emotion and feeling, which is real and tangible. Grammar is merely a tool there is nothing original about it, whereas your poetry is full of originality and life.

All the very best and keep up the good work

Paul.
