Just a little off today... feeling sorry for myself...grrrr!!

******************

“Bad Day Blues”

As mountains echoes my voice

My body echoes in pain today

Oh!!

It let me down again

Leave me to my sorrows black bird

Let me grief in peace okay

My heart could no longer sing

Songs of love and understanding

As I walk these pathless routes

In forest green

Head filled with worries

With a chill that runs down my spine

Knowing something is wrong

As dew falls upon my skin

Everything else is still

Except for the screaming pain

Deep within this body of mine

I walk this path against my will

As the sun goes down today

I go down on my knees to pray

For love and understanding

When I reveal my secrets

About my self

To you so close to my heart

Letting you know

Things about my life

That look like pools of black

As I call it

“Heartache”

Mingled with tears of love

LOL at Jerry's joke...but not at your blues.
I know them too well, myself, Tinka dear.
Hope the sun is on the rise for you.

Tinka,

A very powerful, emotive write, one that took a lot of intestinal fortitude to pen ... don't forget though, "It's always darkest before the dawn," my friend!!

Best to you,

Robert

We all have days like this--but Tinka you have proven time and again that your spunky spirit cuts through the fog and we will find you sitting in the sunshine. You have touched my heart.
Hugs to you dear lady.

you are making a bull bear tear
cheer up kid
change your thoughts
let them fly around you head
like "TINKA BELL"
smile again, stay off that pier.

One can't be a ball of joy all the time.
But you'll bounce back soon.

What the hell, we all get the blues,
I think it has something to do with paying our dues,
So get up off your ass and make yourself feel better,
Just don't in anyway read a paper that prints the news...ed

I agree, I hope these blues pass by you soon. Just so you don't feel alone, we all (or most of us anyway) have those black days. I've had moments (weeks, years, etc) when I totally was in sync with the lyrics "I see a red door and I want to paint it black" Sing it Mick! Great way to release some of these emotions is to write about them. We love you. ;) Silver

Hey Tinka, what are we doing?
I have been on such a sorry for myself roll lately.
I'm getting a grip "Now." (My latest poem).
I am lucky I can be hurting, "Blessed are those who morn, for they shall be comforted."
He knows what He's talking about.
Hey, I love that beautiful lady in the picture.
Oh, that's you.

You're the smart one, you go on what the aborigines call "a walk-about" when you're feeling down. Must be something in the air, as we AD girls are moody today, sis...Have it out with the Big Guy, He can take it. Love ya...

Silver left on the dawn, heart ache is never very long, soul searches for the happy song, life is thr key for what you long, always the grass is greener here in the hearts of those you hold dear. A bit of salt air and you will be walking home. To be so atuned with self is truly a great gift.. have a good day kid.. Walt

I like Jerry's solution. Read some good jokes. Find a copies "Rush Hour 1 and 2" a truly silly movie, "Rat Race."
Love ya, Tinks. You've shared your emotions well here.

A police officer, though scheduled for all-night duty at the station, was relieved of duty early and arrived home four hours ahead of schedule, at 2 AM.
Not wanting to wake his wife, he undressed in the dark, crept into the bedroom and started to climb into bed. She sleepily sat up and said, "Mike, dearest, would you go down to the all-night drug store on the next block and get me some aspirin? I've got a splitting headache."
"Certainly, honey," he said, and feeling his way across the room, he got dressed and walked over to the drug store.
As he arrived, the pharmacist looked up in surprise, "Say," said the druggist, "aren't you Officer Fenwick of the 8th District?"
"Yes, I am," said the officer.
"Well, then, what in the world are you doing in the Fire Chief's uniform?"

LAUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
