My Little Demon “Chuck”

Under the shadows of my hair

Deep within my head

A demon lurks around

You

Utterly still

My mental thoughts

Out of the dark

Where he was born

You came to haunt

My internal thought

A demon soul

On angel wings

Dark…mysteriously cute

With a humbled “tail” to tell

With heavy thoughts

That makes me smile

I follow this little demon in my head

Without a guide or a track

Upon wings

Strong and black

Until it’s time for tea he-he-he

Time to wake up

There goes my alarm

Chuck

And this song is truly an oldy but goody!!!

I love this and my little demon keeps pushing me out the bed. Likes my pillow does he. Of course my little dog has something to say about that.
