*"A Gift Never Given"* *************** The Poetical Works Of Alfred, Lord Tennyson :( �A Gift Never Given� Once upon a time in June We had no time To stare each other in the face Or time to play with squirrels on the grass We had no time To laugh and hug for the first time At the Palace Not fit for you and me Fate did not play a fare game that day Oh what a shame I had this gift of love to give** A gift never given We did not even share an ice cream As fate took us to the wrong entrance I did met men and horses on my way And waited all bloody day But we was not given The time to share Or even to stare Into hearts that really care This About a friendship so rare So unique No roller coaster ride so far Could break this friendship shared A hug and a tear Or even this special gift A gift never given Bought specially for you Now my only treasure Remembering A day or three gone so very wrong When we were not given the time To share this gift of love!! Heart breaking to say the least so eloquent in writing.
Life really makes no sense.
I hope and hope for the day of the one of mine and have the chance one more time.
the gift of love the most precious gift there is to give one another.

Beautifully sad, poetry, Tinka. Sometimes we know our fate and we let it pass us by. It is sad to go through our lifetime knowing that we should have taken a stand and grabbed for what we knew to be our destiny.
