“Everlasting Sun”


 


When spiders tickles my brain


Trying to crush me till I cry


My thoughts go back to you


Stormy and unruly like the ocean


And deep in the forest of my mind


Love’s last dying thoughts remain


For loneliness is heartache within


Also tranquility without


When beasts take it away


Or ruin a perfect day


Specially those


With countless powers


And when those spiders


Tickles my brain more


Trying to crush my heart


Dirt quickly fills the holes


Stormy and Unruly


Like the ocean


Washing debris upon my soul


My heart yearning for peace


Within my sadness


I then climb up


To the gray clouds above


There…


Where my soul can live


In understanding


Searching


The everlasting


Sun so bright

What a splendid portrait of spiritual striving to overcome emotional trauma. The metaphorical imagery is unique and moves the reader to genuine compassion for the narrator. Enjoyed this very much.
