Me And My Dog Galloway

“Me And My Dog Galloway”

 

Oh let your words fall upon me

Pack your life in a single bag

Take the train on route four o’ nine

Or if you like just take a flight


Even a motorbike


Or just bloody hitch-hike okay!!

Just follow the route that leads to love

That runs across mountains high

For many years of waiting

For someone just like you

I would swim the seven seas

Know this my love….

Through the dust on those horizons afar

And beneath the heat of the sun

I will be waiting there just for you

Oh I am still this silly fool

Who believes in love so sweet!!

Send my love to your dear mother

But please leave her behind

There is only place for three of us

You I and my silly old dog

So by the way his name is

“Galloway”

Very nice - wonderful sense of humor. Dogs have a way of reaching into your soul and comforting a yearning spirit. My little terrier "Sadie" was like a grandkid to my Dad.

wonderful write that says it all about longing and yearning for that special someone to find there way to you. Aso a great pic of Gallowaya and you. Nice.

Galloway's a handsome fellow, and I love this Tinka! Reminds me of that song that says, "I don't care how you get here, just get here while you can". The artist is on the tip of my tongue, but you know how it goes-too many files up there! You're not a "silly fool", just a hopeless romantic like most of us...
