The main points in dispute presented their views

Held to settle a serious controversy– unchangeable purpose

Biased on foreseen faith and universal atonement

Partial depravity and the possibility of a lapse of save face

Initiated by the rise of a logical doctrine;

First was questioned – false views were rejected

Namely, unconditional election, and irresistible perseverance

"The Decision of the Cannon has a special character called judgment

It also has limited character, but covers the whole range

And focuses without dispute – no errors, its’ original preface";

"Since all people have sinned, they come under the sentence of the curse and eternal death

The former being an exposition, the latter a repudiation

It would be an injustice to leave an entire human race – condemn them on account of their negative (soon to be blown a) parts

I send proclaimers a very joyful message – receive the gift of eternal life

In accordance with my decision to graciously soften their thwarts";

"However hard, your chosen ones may be inclined to believe

But anger remains by those who do not believe this reprobation

By their own judgment they live in wickedness and hardness of heart

In this, it is disclosed to us that their acts may be unfathomable

And distinguishing between people is equally lost";

Fallen by their own faults from not so original innocence

Those chosen are neither better nor less deserving than the others

The election ended – the Decision of the Cannon was not altered

Was appointed from eternity to be their mediator

Most wise, unchangeable, all-knowing, and almighty

Were caused to humble themselves before "the big-bang theory"

To adore the cylindrical depth of its’ depravity and its’ un-mercy.
