Sorry for posting this...please forgive me!!

Just a little pissed with life right now OKAY!!

*******

"Just Let Me Be Okay"

Just let me be Me
Like a barefoot child once again
I am walking my beach alone today
Oh!!

But…I am so tired you know
Begging for better things to come my way
Crying in falling rain all alone
My heart is bleeding torn to pieces

But who cares…

That’s what life was suppose to be about for me
Why won’t… anyone ever listen to me
Listen closely
Oh please
Don’t make me beg for mercy
I loved life before yes
Why would anyone believe me?

I am just this silly woman in despair

Who wants some attention
But my life my world
Have all disappeared
Been washed away…
Washed away by tears like rain
Will we meet again?
Maybe Someday!!

Oh never mind me ranting and moaning
But until then
I just want to be me
Let me be
But know this
I still love
You
OKAY!!

Tinka First of all Never apologize and secondly this poem is so yearning that I know all too well. Everything you say in here, is so true and I've yell. Just let me be who I want and AM! I can be me and still love you. I love this poem Tinka it has such a powerful message in it although I know the screaming and hear the feeling screaming out in this, it really has a great message to remember for everyone. Let each other be each our own don't stop us from living and being who we each are, ourself! It's like death before dying, an empty shell.
Superb poem and Tinka Yell all you want and never apologize!!
Love yer friend

That's life, very painful at times. But don't forget, the joys of tomorrow are only a second away.

A powerful declaration of love and selfhood that fairly explodes with emotional honesty and spiritual intensity. The beauty here is in the truth and rawness of the telling.

Ah, Tinka, my heart goes out to you. Sometimes we must cry and grieve alone to handle the things that go on in our lives, and to put them in their rightful places. And sometimes a love must be placed in a corner of our hearts, where we can look back and say, It was good.

Peace. Joyce

love can never be truly erased from your heart but it can seek to be rekindled ... that is the power of love ...

I know I have said this before and I certainly don't mean it in an unkind way at all, but "Only the dreamer can change the dream." You need to be willing to give up some of the "things" that you have grown fond of if you will ever have a chance at living your own life again and being free to love and blossom. I pray for your strength to make the seemingly difficult choices that you will need to make so that you can experience renewal.
Take care,
Sherry

Yur hurt is palpable Tinka and I wish I could wave a magic wand.
Take a day to do whatever you wish, and forget everything else. You can do it, just make up your mind and take a day away from it all!

Love and hugs,

everyone can share these feelings, but only a few can speak about it so openly... from pain comes renewal and rebirth and I look forward to the day all your pains go away and life again becomes new

Let it all out, cry it into the four winds
let the wild zyphers, unburden your load
write as you feel it
show us the true poetess, that you truly are
set your soul free.

Great write Tinka

Tinka dear, you are beloved by your AD friends...we couldn't do without you. They say 'that which does not kill us makes us stronger'. Just like ripening oranges on a tree become extra sweet after a few nights of cold, our writing is enriched by our pain and life's experiences. Think of all you can relate to that some can only imagine...And think of how glorious the joy will feel when it returns to your life. Hang in there my friend...much love, Michelle

Sounds of Silence resonates in this one, Tinka. Your pain will see its way to the flashing neon again one day. "And the people bowed and prayed to a neon God they made." Lines from Simon and Garfunkel. I know why you chose this music. Be okay, okay?
