Poetic Bride

 

I speak my words in silence
Just to avoid violence
I recite them with great pride
Because…

I became the poetic “bride”

When I first started to write


Now three years on this site

“I walked my beach alone”

Now I am addicted

Even though in conflict

What others think of it

Sometimes a little tongue tight

Because I ain’t THAT bright

But will never give up the fight

In some AWESOME way

It takes my imagination on flight

I’ve met such good friends

I even “divorced” a few

Along the poetic way

But those closest to my heart

From you I will never part

You became my family

A bond for all eternity!!
