"Close Encounter Of Emotions"

I watch in silence
Blue ocean in movement
And horizons upon horizons in-tangled
Till dark and blue becomes the gray
Moonlight on the east side
My hands reaching for the stars
And my soul belongs
To the unknown tomorrows
As gray waves rush upon the shore
Quench the sands a waiting
I know for sure
My heart, my pain, my knowledge
Like the black of the ocean
And the bright evening star
Like a sword in action
I have no weapon no more
Where there was trust
There is fear and anger
Where there was hope
There is no answer
Like a black stone in water
That’s how my heart feels right now

Without hope Not!
Just a tidal wave of emotions
That has me in captivity
Close encounter of feelings
Locked up like a oyster
No chance to escape
Locked up in danger zone
Alone

Wow, fully absorbing tink, this piece,
breathtaking in its passion, beautiful in its sadness,
a magnificent rendering of the heart, your vision blends
with your metaphorical perspective, Perfectly, loved this, mike

An emotional tidal wave can just about drown you, you have expressed emotions very well, almost too real not to feel them while we read.

Powerful pen! Sounds like the pangs of re-birth, Tinka. Sometimes we go into false labor. But this is just to prepare us for the real birth ahead. That lifeless black stone is the death of an old dream. Don't cling to it. Go to the light. Hugs...

That picture is calming atop the waves while underneth is an undertow of astronomical proportions. You will simply flip over onto your back and float above all this ...sweet Tinka.
I believe in your power to overcome.

Susan

This is a poetic feast. The closing strophe is just that flawless brilliant cut alexandrite.

I did enjoy the reading of "Close Encounter Of Emotions".

"You got it all wrong. REread St Francis poem... "

A prayer by Saint Francis :

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred . . . let me sow love
Where there is injury . . . pardon
Where there is doubt . . . faith
Where there is despair . . .hope
Where there is darkness . . . light
Where there is sadness . . .joy
Divine Master,
grant that i may not so much seek
To be consoled . . .as to console
To be understood . . .as to understand,
To be loved . . . as to love
For it is in giving . . .that we receive,
It is in pardoning, that we are pardoned,

THANK YOU ANDY!!

Not with that picture you're not, Tinky. Get out there on your beloved ocean shore, and breathe it all in. Creation awaits; you are not alone.

Tinka sweetie, you are never alone! I've seen you acknowlege the LORD in your reviews...Sweetie, it just FEELS like it, and although those FEELINGS are VERY REAL AND PAINFUL, you can - and will - get past them! Remember Sweetie...Jesus CHRIST, the HOPE of Glory - is withIN us!!! YOU ARE NEVER ALONE! Look at all these people who love you, and are praying for you, Tinka - myself included! Art wrote you a truth-giving song; George gave you hugs; Elaine and Peter know that hope IS in you and lift up your arms; Andy is giving you direction; the others are warm and loving ...no, sweetie...you are NEVER alone.
A big hug from me, too, Tinka...who has been where you are.
my love& prayers, Rhonda

"Like a black stone in water" falling, invisible, a great image for a fragmented heart.

I am inclined to agree with George, it IS good to have this poetic outlet to release those things that trouble your heart and soul. Keep your eyes fixed on the Way, the Truth, and the Life, through your ordeal.

There is much to glean from those seasons of suffering that come to us all. As gold is refined and purified in fire, so are our lives through those seasons of suffering, longing, and incompleteness.

Stand Strong!

HE is the rock of your life,
not any other he, will do.
The best you can expect from man,
is to apologize to you.
That's, even, getting uncommon and,
as the times grow eviler still,
you must get back in His sweet arms,
and, in His awesome Will.
He loves you, as we do,
and you can't blame an iota, on yourself.
So take that worn and used Bible,
right down from that shelf.
Let His Words heal your heart,
and put you back on the Way.
And KNOW that for your broken heart and spirit,
we will, unceasingly, Pray!!!
