I Walk This Dirt Roads For You

I walk on this dirt road
Looked around me and I saw
The veldt had never been so bare before
Behind me there’s a twisted dust line of hurt
The sun made a scab to cover my wounds
I walked along… alone on my own... just me
Because nobody knows my history But in such times only “You” could help me
But this time you are not there for me
But you will always be here with me
Along the roads of my memories
In and out of my surrounding
In the flowers and the sunshine
And even in river streams
You will be in my imagination
You will always be there
Along the roads of my heart
Because you stripped me noticing the beauty
Of all the flowers and the sunshine
And river streams of all beauty in general
Where dirt roads are running along
I walk on this dirt road
Just walking along
I walk without any destination
Nowhere to go
Because you are my destination
You are my will for living
And I have never been more alone
Like right now
But still in my mind you will always
Be there along my dirt roads
My walk of life
What ever my destination
In the flower the sunshine
The water streams
You will be there
In my imagination
Walking the dirt roads
Of my heart
Because you took it all away
Along my dirt road
That nobody knows anything about
Where dust roads are running now
I walk with doubt in my heart
I walked many hours
I walked many days
I walked with so many questions
I did not deserve this
Along long lonely roads of despair
Along long empty emotions
Along side my memories of you
But I am telling you
You will always be here with me
On my dirt road till the end
Because where ever my dirt road leads me
You will walk that road with me
There will be no more beauty
In the flowers the sunshine
And the river streams
In my heart

But you will always be here with me
Along the roads of my memories

I have one or two who are always with me, too, Tinky, and sometimes, those memories truly help, and truly see us through.
