Oblivious

Far across the deep blue sea

Where ocean and heaven touch

Upon horizon all misty eyed

I kiss my love goodnight

Oblivious…of those around me

With a warm and fuzzy feel within

So very deep within my heart you wander

Like Cinderella I slip into my bed

To dream a dream of love

But frogs crept into my head

And made me smile with so much joy

I slipped away to wonderland

Far across the deep blue see

Where frogs can wander freely

And before the clock strike once more

I was fast asleep with thee!!

Once I kissed a frog and nothing happened, maybe I was too ugly for the princess inside the frog!
A beautiful way of talking of a tender private moment making it a flower to everybody to see.
Well done!

I was afraid of that, seems that
it turned out good, heck can't

Tikna,

This warm and fuzzy poem evokes a soft dreaminess of love, happiness, and contentment and peace. This sort of reminds me the comfortable feelings I tried to convey in "Peach Jammies." I for one, can feel the palpable emotive power of your beautifully penned words now .....ribit!
Love and hugs,

Walt
