                                 “Just Waiting”

Sitting at my favorite spot… it’s late at night
                        Listening to some sad music
Once again I pen this moment down

Upon my forehead there’s a deep frown
I ask my self the question!!
Why do I feel like crying… by the thought of you?
But my pen runs dry… all the time!!
Not even trying to resist these emotions deep
My tears runs freely down my cheek
As my thoughts runs wild
Wild and free with envy

Thinking about you… and me
Why can’t we be just who we want to be?
Wild and free

Just forever young
Why?

Oh God why does it hurt so much
Just thinking about what is lost
I feel like I am going crazy
For this moment
I am just so damn sad
Sad and alone
So very lonely

All on my own

Thinka, we can be exactly who we want to be -- as far as forever young, that is an altogether different challenge my dear friend -- my personal motto is, cheer up it will get worse -- that permits me to put everything in proper perspective -- I bid you love and peace my dear friend --- Jon Michael

A sad, introspective look at the broken heart of one who has loved and lost. Amazing details; one knows you have lived this and feels the sadness in your very being. I hope this hurt soon leaves you. Loved your poem... I am a new fan of your work.

Why can’t we be just who we want to be?
Wild and free
Just forever young
Why?

Questions many ask themselves, each and every day,
And I hope sadness is replaced with happiness soon.

Sadness is difficult to understand. Many who have not experienced it do not realize the pain it causes. You did an excellent job of describing depression.
GOD BLESS YOU

Oh Tinka! So sorry to catch you at such low ebb but certainly you express here the desperation felt by many who feel they inhabit somehow the "wrong life" and that they're not where or even who they should be. The intensity, longing and sincerity of heart are palpable and it's certainly true that pain makes the pen fly... Bless you, Darlin. Bristol seems so far away now, but I still cherish deeply its fond remembrance. Refind that beautiful smile! Love always, Kate xx
