A Glimpse of You *~~ I sit with inverted thoughts Penetrating towards my inner soul Trying to escape the reality That’s presently surrounding me A Diagnosed severe pain Medication New to my existence. ~~* Preoccupying my mind Like squatters In a dwelling not their own Pilfering all my thoughts Poems and songs With every sigh uttered From the loveliness Of your soft silent lips. *~~ I find myself walking In the darkness of a clear Fall mid noon Where the rays of the morning’s Sunrise escapes me. ~~* Leaving me wondering My hapless self Where shadow’s rein Through the dark corridors Of my mind Among all that is true gloom. *~~ A glimpse of you Sails through my thoughts Causing an exhausted soul To reach with all the strength A mortal man can muster To touch you with his idle Dust gathering quill. ~~* You brighten my every thought Like the blind I can now see Like the lost I’ve been found. *~~~~~~ By: William Bonilla “D’Artagnan” 10/13/09**

Are you speaking of personal physical illness in those opening stanzas? If you are, I'm sorry and you have my sympathy. The stanzas following have gloom and darkness but then at the end there is brightness and hope, the inspiration that love gives.
