This snapshot was taken this morning after the ice storm came through. The property turned into a dream world of magnificent beauty. Nature's creativity is my Muse.

Poem Artwork

With Winter haze
...and darkened days
When Nature slows
...her feathered Babes
She rocks them in
... her icy blouse
Then stores them warm
... in her ice house.

how wonderful that you can find inspiration in the ice! lovely poem and picture even made me smile - and I typically find no joy in ice storms. :)

Susan,

Most people curse ice storms; your Muse is inspired by them. This is absolutely gorgeous! (Both pic and verse.) Well done!

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla. :)

beautiful picture, beautiful poem; but be careful! don't fall on your bobo; don't need you hurting yourself...the last time we had an ice storm (last year), it was quite a challenge for me to negotiate the icy terrain on my crutches...t'aint easy, McGee...i managed to fall on my bobo a few times...*OW* LOL

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in tx., karen lynn. :D

Well, there is no photo for me to see but still the words are what count as far as I am concerned. And your words are always right on the money. I thing there is nothing more beautiful than the landscape after an ice storm has passed through. Stay warm. Stay safwe.
