Poem Artwork

lonely is the raindrop
that falls among the mist
the only saving grace it has
is to mingle with a kiss
If when we meet the rain comes down
to pool among our dreams
then if the opening of hearts
can give it anything
my hopes are that we share our love
then give this tear a part
so it can live as free as we
then dwell within our hearts.

Love and tears go together and love dwells within our heart. Tears wash away the pain and give us hope for tomorrow. Loved this sentimental piece expressed in raindrops.

"My hopes are that we share our love then give this tear a part so that it can live as free as we then dwell within our hearts" What insight! Surely if a love is to survive, both lovers must be willing to give more than what they think is their all, to make it so much stronger than either of them that it could exist
on it's own no matter what,
allways
comforting them and lending understanding and caring. I can feel these words! This is the kind of love I have allways searched for and have never found. Beautiful write. Pierre.

You are at your best in these brief, purposeful poems. The longer ones are good, but it's like having three fine dogs, I end up favoring the little fellow that curls into my arms - and my heart. Thank youf for being good at your craft. - Bill

Whoa Susan, when did you capture and train Cupid as your muse? This is stunning in it's purity and content, grabs the hearts imagination and refuses to let go.

Dear Susan . . .

Such a rhythmn in this - it rolls off the tongue with grace and fortitude of a Monet'.

"To pool among our dreams" is a multi-faceted image that lends itself nicely to so much, and also from so many angles. You have a similar prolificacy as dear sister Eileen.

Oodles of benisons Poet . . . Outstanding!
