To all my Texas friends. this is tongue and cheek. My dad was a Texan and quite a few of my good friends too...and George Bush.
That's a taste of my humor.
I'm adding some levity to my day and yours. Wishing you all well.

Love,
Susan

Can Texans...

Are they bigger in Texas and better than most?
Is it easier to take them regardless of boast?
Can they fit into something smaller than them?
Do I believe most of all that I get from him?
Will I have what he needs when it comes down to proof?
Would it still work if passions remained aloof?
Are desires that super from Texans that brag?
Can women remain lovers without being a nag?
And can stars beat your brains out once Texans have burst...
Through holes of lusts playing upon Texans with thirst?
Will walking be trouble when wet things run wild...
Upon Texans with big things..like inches for miles?
Can there be this here heaven when Texans slam home...
Their passions of pleasures to never more roam?

James Dean was from Indiana and Rock Hudson was, ... you know. Once you get stuck in this huge state with no beauty and little culture, it is hard to leave--tried twice.

Great poem though most cowboys was Mexican, Black, or Indian.

You are riding high in the saddle with this brand of levity, Susan!
Bet your Daddy was a Texas Gentleman, too, to have won that Southern Belle heart of your Mama's!

Hope she's laughing at this one, too!

This Texan (by choice--got here as fast as I could LOL) enjoyed this one, Susan; if you're curious about what Texas is like, why don't you come down here for a spell? :)

I think ego was born in a Texan's 10 gallon hat. This was a real hoot.

I am afraid I can only base my judgment on The High Chapperal, The Virginian, Wagon Train... and Blazing Saddles... hmmm.. maybe not the best of representations. But Clint Eastwood can be my Good, Bad and Ugly any day of the week... Glad to see someone else flexing the old funny bone this evening, along with the tongue in cheek. Now you got me wonderin what it would be like to have a pseudo-John Wayne as a Dad... AWESOME, I would imagine! Baccy-spittin write, Darlin. TY Kate xx

Heck, I don't know the answer to all that, I'm from Arkansas and Rezorbacks never got along with those damn Longhorns, now that I am in Louisiana, the Tiger in me still has problems with them. Well, except maybe one or two, I recall Virginia Roberts, yes, indeed, I do . . .
