The Cardinals sing
The train whistle blows
The sun is streaming
From window to floor
The day is breaking
After the rain
Lime green new life
Is alive once again
Pinks and reds
Fuchias and golds
Peeking at the world
As threir blossoms unfold
All creatures dance
To life's mating call
Inviting life's miracle
For one and for all.

Ahhhh Spring! I wish we had it here, instead od the occasional wildflower trampled by new construction as bayous and wetlands become suburban sameness with increasing floods, dry spells, and a Spanish-speaking populus.
Beautiful description of a time I've near forgotten.

What lovely words for one of my favourite times of the year - spring! All the blossoms have opened up on the trees, the little birds are tweeting away and everything is bieng almost resurrected from winter. Your words put a smile on my face :o)
