hahahaha hehehe this jokes on me.....

Joking and kidding around sure is fun,
it's certainly missed when there's none.
I love to fun poke,
tease my associates in joke.
But sometimes our humor,
too others can be like a cancerous tumor.

My wife will joke me all day,
then get angry when I start too play.

I then tell her,

"oh when the jokes on me,
you go on a laughing spree.
But when the jokes on you,
I get a face sad and blue."

She'll cut into me with her funny,
laugh until her eyes are runny.
I just stand and take it,
if it's not funny I fake it.
I appreciate her trying,
even if she puts me in the pan frying.

However I don't get the same respect,
cause some of my jokes don't connect.
Most of the time I piss her off some,
then have to immediately refrain from.
I get no credit for try,
it's shut-up or fry.

At work my boss is worse than I,
his jokes will make you cry.
They usually come with a hammer,
and I be the nail for the slammer.
Then I have too retreat to the border,
get my office in order.

On the phone some get offended,
but there's no harm intended.
Sometimes they piss me off good,
then don't understand my humorous mood.
I straightened them out in a joking way,
it helps make a better day.

Some people take life too serious,
try to joke them they get furious.
Lifes too short for the drama,
sometimes fun helps with the trauma.
Of course I could always cut the jokes,
then go for the mean azz strokes.

Get your mind ready for this twist,
following could be a big fat fist.
A lot of times my joking is phony,
so slice me up like baloney.
It's a defense mechanism,
to keep from really hurting a human organism.
Moreso my own fragility,
fractioning down my inner hostility.

My wife knows my joking attitude,
she knows it's really to keep from
being right out mean and rude.

She'll say,

"I know you're really mad,
so quit acting like you're glad."

She be right on the money,
I do it that way cause she's my honey.
I have no intentions of getting furious,
even though my motive is serious.
The same goes for others too,
it helps cut down on sad and blue.
