My cup runneth over

Poem Artwork

My verse
my singing is worse
It isn't coincidental
that I mess up instrumental
I'm no musian
more or less I'm a magician

I perform magic tricks
it's the way I get my kicks
I never was a writer
I ended up writing a book
many won't even take a look
The police would have
locked me up if I was a crook

I smile and laugh a lot
completely happy I'm not
I'm a very good clown
I refuse to be down
I write about love
only to control the
push and shove
I'm not a phony
but my romance is baloney

At this merry moment
I'm simply bullchitting
I have no idea about
what I'm transmitting
so I guess
I'll be quitting
