I'm always THINKING about dieting. I think I finally found the way.

Poem Artwork

FAT CALORIES
 I should count calories.
I should watch my weight.
I should try to get thin,
or one day it will be too late.
 But dieting takes willpower,
of which I have almost none.
I need a diet plan,
that would make it much more fun.
With interest I read the label
of my favorite tasty treat.
All information was right there,
all printed out nice and neat.
 200 calories per serving
is precisely what I read.
160 of these were fat calories,
or so the label said.
I pondered this as I nibbled,
and decided I was A-OK.
160 from 200 leaves 40.
So, I ate 40 SKINNY calories today.

I count calories until I run out of fingers. By then they're stuck in the pie. Patrick

I like the capitalization in your title that shouts at you, but be careful to not use it too much in titles for some, it takes away from the talent I see in your words that are, let us say delicious.

What an interesting way to look at it! If they aren't FAT calories...they must be SKILLY calories! Too funny!

Well, you certainly have a knack at discerning the calorie facts. No one can deny that you ate 40 skinny calories. Keep up the good work!

Donna,

Cute poem. I'm sure we've all broken our New Year's resolutions to lose weight by now. Me too! Take care.

You know I think the fat in calories is all a scam! There is no proof of anyone die because of fat in calories. JMHO.
