Poem Artwork

Red Gold burgundy
Morn's burning bush
afternoon's street lamp
nightime shadows

Each passing day
quickens it's borrowed time
when all will of fallen
dead upon the ground

Dreary days will ecompass
sticks of odd dimensions
searching for new life
budded new beginings

Like the very first fall
when Adam did surely weep
burying neath the soil
natures mirror of his own destiny

An inevitable process
that comes to us all
where life beyond relies
in hope, trust and belief

As obedient to the cycle
humble pear tree withers
I marvel at it's Golden glow
the warmth radiating forth

And resolve to emulate those Autumn days!

Bittersweet in it's tone and meaning yet soothing in a way as well. Great images focussed here my Cherry Pie,
