In the begining.....

God Created Man/Woman
with a free will
to love HIM
and be obedient
to just one command

That Tree.......

Of knowledge
of good and evil
not such an ask
considering!

God's enemy....

Couldn't help himself
had to bequile woman
when man was absent
of course.

She Listened.....

It was her free will
with a price to pay
for disobedience
and thus the downfall

We know the story.....

What changed man
was that his eye's were opened
to that he couldn't comprehend
or deal with

Such was God's love....

Thousands of years later
we still delve into realms
in our arrogance
and disobedience

We don't know who our Enemy is....

Till he has bitten our butts
so hard
so long
without mercy

Then we get the gist.....

Why God tried to protect us
and still does
despite our attitudes
hardened hearts

HE still loves...

Sent HIS SON to die
to snatch the keys
of death away
sparing our hides from hell

Why do we keep it going.....

Killing in the name of peace
starving the poor
laundering money for power
oppressing the weak

What is with Mankind....

Has he not yet learned
you can't fight the enemy
who is Lord of the flies
and frequents this earth

We are out of our depth.....

It's his domain
he will see us do his dirty work
slaying each other
and laughing

If it opresses man....

Is it borne of love?
or of slavery and greed
stockpiled for the furnace
in due course

If it dictates....

Does it care how we survive
war after war
crusade after crusade
all for the power and booty

Like two flea's.....

Arguing over the dog
they both occupy
who has the right
to live there or die

We have a free will....

Will we use it to live
or use it to die
to follow lost causes
like the very first lie

Thou shalt NOT surely die....

But we did
and we still are
and there's nothing we can do
cept go back to the start

Listen again.....

"Do not eat of the fruit of the tree of knowledge"
Trust HIM
Why not?
HIS enemy is a liar
and all those who serve him!

Turn away.....

From false doctrines
False prophets
and those claiming to be God's Vicar
and LIVE!!

Last time I checked.....

There was only one SON
Who won
the war
exclaimed "it is done"

The Victor is Sure....

The victory secure
but till judgment we all must endure
Herein lies the patience
It's the least we can do

Considering All... HE's had for US.
