Poem Artwork

Month To Month

January
How can what comes first feel last
As air turns cold with winters' blast

February
Above the snow, the sky rains sleet
The sun is sleeping, on it's feet

March
The skies look dull, the earth is grey
As winter journey's on it's way

April
Rain clouds wash  and cleanse the earth
Warm air readies, flora's birth

May
Arise the sleepy infant seed
The earth turns lush, in shades of green

June
Hot days stretch long into nights
The air is heavy, clouds are white

July
Summer rains blast humid air
Puddles pool, with more to spare

August
Summer in it's final breath
All is lush, yet close to death

September
Harvest colors tease the eye
Leaves hold fast, as winds wisk by

October
One day warm, next day cool
Helter skelter no set rules

November
Wild winds roam everywhere
Chaos pulls the very air

December
Here the year bows to it's end
The cycle sleeps, to start again

Pax

Beautiful poem Anita. Hey, and the new name is cool too! Is it a permanent change? Hope all is well!

I concur with Eileen: no matter the month, the season, the name, it's all beautiful. Well done, Lady A!
