Chicken eggs usually hatch one at a time. The last chick to hatch always has some catching up to do. And this was certainly the case with Barv Rankin, whose fifteen brothers and sisters all hatched before him.


hatched?

so many ideas started, so many in the nest
incubate by heat of thought, in other words.....ASS-essed
and when these ideas crack thru, when they first see light
they start as fowl, and end up baked, if never given flight

Lady A ... maybe this poem figures the best thing you can do when 'hatched', is start running as fast as your little legs will carry you the moment you are born and don't look back until you are strong enough to face the world. Right or wrong? Bill
