Dark includes everything,
But we can see not a thing
In the dark. Dark is the ground
Of light to approve; hence,
It never owns up in its darkness.
We see the dark before
We see the light;
But once we see the light
We forget about darkness,
Committing such a big error.
So what, hon? I love this poem but I did not forget what happened last night! I'm all about you actually making me feel a wave of light to dark as if on a wavy road. Very cool!
Darkness and Light contrast each other. Without darkness, we would not see the light. So they both coexist. Humans can only see what they can see, beyond that, who knows? Scientists don't know either. Too much thinking gives me a headache. I'm just taking the world and universe as it is presented to me at face value.
Astronomers have recently found that the light sources they see in visible sky account for only a fraction of the mass of the known to exist in the universe. This can only be explained by unseen matter that is described as being, "dark." So, to say that the dark is the absence of light, may be wrong. There may be real substance to both dark and light. We just can't see the dark with our current measuring devices.
It may be also incorrect to assume that light is good and dark is bad. It may turn out that dark matter is much better for our future than the light we can see in the stars and galaxies.
