Well Gurlz n' Ghoulz - I'm BAAAACK!

After 4 + years of no trouble getting online, my ISP decided to just eliminate the Access Number I had.
it only took me 3 phonecals, and 3 people, to finally get a Tech Support fella in INDIA, who Knew what he was doing!

have 5 or 6 more posts, but will have to wait. Xmas shopping beckons me ...

Inspired By:
“T’was The Night Before Christmas”
Poem?By - Clement Moore ??

T’was the Night before Thanksgiving, when all through the Room,
Nothing was moving, all quiet - like a gloomy Tomb.?
The Pots were all hung in the kitchen with Care,?
Waiting for Veggies to cook, and other such Fare.??

The kids were nestled all snug in their Cots,?
With visions of sugar-plums and candies, like Dots!
And Ma in her ‘Nightie’, and I in my Jammies,?
Had just settled our grey-matter, for some Double-Whammies!

When out in the Yard there arose such a loud Smash,?
I sprang from the bed to see who had a Crash!
Away to the window I flew in a Dash,?
Flipped open the Blinds, and flicked an Eye-Lash!??

The Moon on the crest of the new-fallen white Powder,?
Gave the luster of Lunacy to things - and were getting much Louder! .?
When, what to my wondering eyeballs did Appear,?
A Guy with a Shotgun - really quite Near!

He was quite Big, with a frame very Hefty,?
His hand on the Trigger told me - he was a ‘Lefty!’
As he squeezed the hair-trigger, loosing several Rounds,?
BAM! BAM! BAM! Those were the Sounds!?

"Now Damn it Turkey, get Out of that Tree!”?
He cussed and fussed, as Bad as could Be!?
Ka-Pow! Ka-Pow!?Ka-Pow! Rang out his Bird-Shot,
??”You’re gon’na be Dinner - ‘cause that’s the Plot!”

Quick like a Bunny, that Ole Bird did Fly,?
‘Tom Turkey’ then circled, way up in the Sky.?
So up to the house-top, like an Eagle he Flew,?
While the angry Hunter, more cuss-words did Spew!?

And then - from the Barrel came a bright Flash,?
And pellets came pouring, right through my Sash!
There in the Night, in the new-fallen Snow,?
This ‘Loony-Toon’ Shooter, blew out my Window!??

He was dressed all in Skins, from his head to his Feet,?
Looked like Davy Crocket - but not quite as Neat!
His tongue was a-wagging, as he stopped to Re-Load,?
And the Turkey did Gobble-Gobble, seemingly just to - Goad!

His Eyes - how they Sparkled! His Feathers how Flurry!?
His Feet with big Claws, his Manner - not to Worry!?
He appeared quite Proud, in fact - very Turgescent,?
A fine Turkey Cock specimen, who looked very Pleasant!?

The Hunter had a Pipe clenched tightly in his Teeth,?
And the Smoke surrounded his head like a Wreath.?
He had a big Red face and a Rotund big Belly,?
That shook when he coughed - his breath - really quite Smelly!??

When he knocked on my door - to Apologize,?
His frame was immense, including ‘Thunder-Thighs!’
The Alcohol fumes, that spewed from his Lips,?
Soon gave me to know - he had had - several ‘Nips!’??

He said he was Sorry - ‘bout Nine or Ten Times,
Repeatedly Slobbering - while Spittin’ out Rhymes!
Laying his finger aside of his nose -?he then Sneezed,
The Outcome of which - I was Not Pleased!?

I made a Suggestion, thinking it Smart,?
In the Morning, please Go - to the Super-Mart,?
Buy yourself a Frozen, Dead Bird,?
"Happy Thanksgiving To All” - is the Last I Heard!

And That’s The Tall Tale of -
Truthful Tom -
The Turkey Bird!

If you want to make a turkey come down from the tree all you need is the services of our Bird Whisperer in AD, although good luck convincing him to help you fetching that feathered fellow for your super!

Thanksgiving will never be the same, Tom ... LOL! Too funny. Well done!

About your ISP eliminating your access number: it's a plot. Sure the tech guy IN INDIA knew what he was doing. Except knowing how to speak English *shut UP, Karla*

Merry Christmas, in any event. Maybe Santa'll bring you a new computer. =]
(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
And hey: how'd you get my morning picture?!?!??? LOL!
