I LIED AGAIN! Another NON-poem that is really an article ... or - SUMPIN' ELSE?

DOTS - D.O.T. & IDIOTS © - Tom Hyland - 9/20/10 Many Moons Ago - When ... Some of us Ole Farts were Kids - A Favorite Candy chomped on . the Movies ... Was DOTS - chewy fruit-flavored LUMPS - That stuck to your Teeth! REMEMBER? They still Exist - and still STICK! These were the ‘NORM’ long Before - GUMMY BEARS were ever Created! My Adult Kids (Veggies) - will Not eat Them! Said the GEL as in - Jello - is made From ... The HOOVES of Animals! YUCK! WHO KNEW? D. O. T. ... Department Of Transportation - One of, if not, the Largest - Agencies ... In Every State, as well as Fed ... BUDGETS that ‘Blow The Mind!’ Roads - Highways - Inter-States - Intra-States - Bridges ... INFRA-STRUCTURES - That are FALLING APART! More Money Spent Than Even GOD Has - Yet DEFUNCT - DUH? This brings us Full Circle to the Third Tine - In this Trident of POSEIDON ... No - Not the Nuclear Ballistic Warhead - Rather, the Greek god of the Sea! IDIOTS! God Bless ‘Em! IDIOPATHY? A Disease of Unknown Cause ... Is it perhaps Idiomatic in Nature? i.e. - a Transportation Language that Defies the Workers - From Understanding Each Other? Kind of like ‘The Tower of Babel’? This might explain WHY and HOW ... They SCREW UP so Badly? Is ASPHALT Really an ASS-FAULT? The Definition of INSANITY is said to be: Repeating the Same Mistake - Over - and Over - and - OVER! ERGO - might not some IDIOTS ... Also Suffer from Insanity Also? Could Macadam be the Real Culprit? Is TAR - in fact, yet Another Petroleum Product! SO - Let us RECAP ... We EAT the Hooves of Dead Animals ... We PROMOTE Incompetents - Based on - The ‘Peter Principle’ ... We ALLOW IDIOTS to Screw-Up our Roadways ... Then, we Apathetically just - Bitch n’ Moan ... Sound About Right? Nice rant. I don't care for dots either, but I'm OK with the hoove part, I chew my fingernails sometimes. Dots stick to my teeth way too much and I actually sucked a crown off a tooth once. Dentist was not pleased. By the way next time you fly, don't book row 13 or you'll end up walking. Patrick
