When darkness blankets daily light I gaze upon the beauty of night The moon and stars surround the earth They shine and twinkle for the world. One night a shooting star I did see It sparkled and glowed so bright for me Shooting across the heavens above A miracle sighting...I felt so loved. Awestruck, I stood, savoring the light It must be time to say goodnight I thanked my maker for this gift Then said my prayers and went to bed.
